Public Workshop - Detecting Circulating Tumor DNA for Cancer Screening

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing a public workshop on Detecting Circulating Tumor DNA for Cancer Screening, which will be held on March 9, 2020.

During the workshop we will:
  • Discuss the clinical, scientific, and regulatory challenges associated with the development of Circulating Tumor DNA (ctDNA) based cancer screening tests.
  • Hear from stakeholders about study designs needed to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness, as well as the benefits and risks, of cancer screening tests.
