This webinar will review the current state of mental health apps in light of evidence-based treatment strategies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and problem-solving therapy, that have been translated into app formats. Speakers will review different situations in which apps have been found to be helpful, including as self-management tools and adjuncts to different models of care, and discuss the evolving regulatory landscape of health apps, including efforts to obtain U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for these products.
