CDC Study Examines Differences between Male and Female Caregiver Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) and the Effect of Social Support on HRQOL

Several researchers from the CDC published, “Mental Health Differences Between Men and Women Caregivers, BRFSS 2009.”  The researchers found that women caregivers were significantly more likely to report mentally and physically unhealthy days than men, yet women were more likely to report higher levels of social support as compared with men.
