The National Institute on Nursing Research (NINR) and MedlinePlus are teaming up to offer text messages for those living with serious illnesses and their families.
Text messages will provide information about what palliative care is, the benefits of palliative care, and how to manage the symptoms of a serious illness.
Messages will include palliative care information for both adult and pediatric patients and their families.
