For many women, growing older is a time of new opportunities and personal growth. But, women may also face special challenges as they age. Some, like menopause, are a natural part of life. Others, like heart disease or diabetes, can be related to family history or lifestyle. Caring for an aging parent (or active grandchildren!) may add to an already busy time.

Make time to take care of yourself! Women’s Health Week, May 8-14, 2016, encourages women to feel empowered to make their health a priority.

Take steps today to improve your mental and physical health. Womenshealth.gov - National Women’s Health Week!
