Partners and supporters are hosting events, ambassadors are talking about HIV/AIDS and its impact on women and girls, and communities around the country are making an impact. Advances and Opportunities in HIV/AIDS for Women and Girls Panel DiscussionMarch 3, 1:00–2:30 p.m. ET
The panel discussion will highlight milestones since 2006; discuss the future of HIV/AIDS research, prevention, treatment, and care, and the reduction of stigma; and provide a forum for an open dialogue about HIV/AIDS. The panel discussion will be held in Washington, D.C., at the Hubert H. Humphrey Building (auditorium) and also will be web cast (more information will be available soon).
Red Shoe and Red Lipstick HIV/AIDS Awareness WalkMarch 10, 12–1:30 p.m. ET
Wear red lipstick, red shoes, and a red ribbon or pin during the walk, and take photos and post them on social media with the hashtag #RedOn10. The walk will be held in Washington, D.C.
