(NMAC), the conference brings together more than 2,000 participants from all fronts of the HIV/AIDS epidemic—from case managers and physicians, to public health workers and advocates, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) to policymakers—and seeks “to increase the strength and diversity of the community-based response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic through education, training, new partnerships, collaboration and networking.” According to NMAC, this year’s USCA theme, “Ending the HIV/AIDS Epidemic”, will spotlight the changes and advances in the HIV/AIDS arena that have brought us closer than ever to ending the epidemic as well as ways that we can move forward as a community to make this dream a reality.
