Free August 16 Webinar on the Model Pool Code - Participate in a free webinar on preventing drowning, injuries, and the spread of recreational water illnesses through the Model Aquatic Health Code:

Model Pool Code Modules for Comment – These draft modules are part of the Model Aquatic Health Code now under development. Three modules are open for public comment until October 14, 2012:
  • Contamination Burden.
  • Facility Design and Construction.
  • Lifeguarding and Bather Supervision.

Each newly posted module has a short synopsis or abstract highlighting the most critical recommendations.


When Every Drop Counts: Protecting Public Health During Drought Conditions—A Guide for Public Health Professionals – This document includes information about how drought affects public health, recommends steps to help mitigate the health effects of drought, identifies future needs for research and other drought-related activities, and provides a list of helpful resources and tools.
