Bombing and Blast Injury Care and Response

Photo: AmbulanceCDC, in collaboration with the Terrorism Injuries Information, Dissemination and Exchange (TIIDE) Project and partners with leadership from America Trauma Society, has developed seventeen topic-specific fact sheets on the treatment of blast injuries. Now available in a downloadable booklet, the fact sheets have been disseminated both nationally and internationally as part of CDC's mass casualty response efforts. They guide the clinical management and treatment of blast injuries. These fact sheets provide health professionals worldwide with the best information on the clinical presentation, diagnostic evaluation, management and disposition of blast injuries.
Visit CDC's blast injuries web site for these fact sheets on the treatment of blast injuries, as well as terrorist bombing and mass casualty event preparedness and response information for professionals.
