CDC’s MMWR and Medscape are proud to introduce a new FREE continuing education (CE) activity. The goal of this activity is to describe the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations for use of the hepatitis A vaccine for persons experiencing homelessness. The ACIP recommendations reported in MMWR are the basis of the activity. This CE activity is intended for public health officials, emergency medicine clinicians, family medicine practitioners, infectious disease physicians, internists, nurses, pediatricians, pharmacists, and other physicians who care for homeless patients who might benefit from vaccination against hepatitis A.
