Save the date: EURORDIS Membership Meeting 2017 Budapest The next EURORDIS Membership Meeting (EMM 2017) will take place in Budapest, Hungary at the Danubius Hotel Helia from 19 - 20 May 2017. The working language of the meeting will be English, with simultaneous translation of the Plenary Session on Friday into Hungarian. Read the draft programme here. Registration Register via the form below. 1 person per patient organisation (EURORDIS members only): Free Additional representative from patient member organisations: 125€ per person Other patient organisations, researchers, healthcare professionals and academia: 150€ Healthcare industry representative:  500€ The registration fee covers access to the meetings, coffee breaks and lunch Friday 19 and Saturday 20, as well as the Welcome Dinner Friday evening. Soapbox Session 6 patient representatives will have the opportunity to present Innovative strategies, approaches, services or projects that could potentially be useful to other patient groups in a soapbox session on Saturday 20 May. If you are interested in participating, please email anja.helm@eurordis.org. Each person will have 5 minutes to present (no slides will be allowed). Satellite Meetings This 2-day event, is preceded by the following satellite meetings on May 18: ePAG representatives meeting & leadership workshop (closed meeting, email lenja.wiehe@eurordis.org for more details) Council of National Alliances meeting (closed meeting, email anja.helm@eurordis.org for more details) EURORDIS Board of Directors elections Friday 19 May,  will begin with the EURORDIS Annual General Assembly, during which five directors will be elected to the Board of Directors. If you represent a member organisation of EURORDIS (full members only) and would like to apply for a seat on the board, please contact anja.helm@eurordis.org before 26th April 2017. Each year, the EURORDIS Membership Meeting provides over 200 patients, patient organisations, policy makers and other stakeholders with networking opportunities and capacity-building workshops to improve the lives of those living with a rare disease.

The EURORDIS Membership Meeting workshops are designed to allow patients to develop the knowledge and ability to advance policies and services for rare disease patients in their country and local communities. The EURORDIS Membership Meeting provides an opportunity for EURORDIS members to network, sharing best practices and increasing knowledge of issues integral to member organisations and the rare disease community and environment in each member’s country.
