Vitamin D is being tested for its impact on pancreatic cancerpatients. Dr Jeffrey Drebin, MD and Dr Peter O’Dwyer, MD, both at Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania have found that the vitamin D inactivates the body’s cells, allowing the chemotherapy drugs to reach the tumors.
