The most up-to-date annual report from the CDC noted "more than 2.5 million cases of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia" diagnosed in the US in 2022.[1] Of new US cases of STIs diagnosed or reported annually, about half of new infections occur among persons aged 15-24 years.
