This guideline summary for specialists and generalists covers BP classification, lifestyle interventions, pharmacological treatment thresholds, antihypertensive medication choice, and management of hypertension in patients with comorbidities and special populations. It also covers screening for secondary causes of hypertension, classification of primary aldosteronism, and medical management approaches for renal artery stenosis and OSA. It does not cover recommendations on patients scheduled for surgical procedures, and evidence gaps and future directions.
