National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day | Awareness Days | Resource Library | HIV/AIDS | CDC

March 10 is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD), a day to raise awareness about the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and girls. This year’s theme, The Best Defense Is a Good Offense, encourages women and girls to take effective steps to protect themselves and others from HIV. Here are a few things you can do to celebrate NWGHAAD:

• Learn the basics
• Get tested.
• Start a conversation.
• Get involved.
