National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day March 10
March 10 is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD), a day to raise awareness about the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and girls. This year’s theme, The Best Defense Is a Good Offense, encourages women and girls to take effective steps to protect themselves and others from HIV. Here are a few things you can do to celebrate NWGHAAD:
• Learn the basics
• Get tested.
• Start a conversation.
• Get involved.

Help us promote NWGHAAD by sharing the new social media resourcesposters, and infographics.
This year’s CDC NWGHAAD Web feature and updated women’s fact sheet will be updated closer to March 10th, so check back for updates.
