Applicant Responsibilities in Maintaining the Integrity of NIH Peer Review

Last week, the NIH Office of Extramural Research (OER) issued a Guide Notice (NOT-OD-15-106) containing an NIH statement on integrity in NIH peer review. This will shift the NIH approach to maintaining the high standards of peer review, with a new focus on the responsibilities of applicants (Project Directors/Principal Investigators, applicant organizations, or individuals named in applications) in the process. The Notice also will outline behaviors on the part of applicants that could jeopardize the integrity of peer review, and certain steps that the NIH may take as a result.

Notice of Correction: Multidisciplinary Studies of HIV/AIDS and Aging (R01) (PAR-15-280)

This is a reissue of PAR-12-175, which was published on June18, 2015.
