NEW:  CDC’s Ladder Safety Mobile App

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recently released its first smart phone application (app) which is aimed at improving extension ladder safety. The Ladder Safety app features interactive and easy-to-use ladder safety tools and information, reference materials, and training resources. Download the free app, also available in Spanish, and learn how to incorporate it as part of your organization’s safety policy

CDC Ebola Training Toolkit

CDC recently released a comprehensive training toolkit, Preparing Healthcare Workers to Work in Ebola Treatment Units (ETUs) in Africa. The toolkit is designed to help organizations replicate CDC’s 3-day in-person training course that prepared healthcare workers to work safely in ETUs in Africa. The comprehensive toolkit includes lectures, exercise scenarios, templates, and videos that teach the principles of infection prevention and control in African ETUs.
