The Lackland Blood Donor Center encourages active duty service members, Department of Defense civilians, military retirees, contractors and family members to stop by and save lives. As one of 23 Armed Services Blood Program donor centers, the facility provides blood to support all overseas missions, the San Antonio Military Medical Center and the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Affairs Hospital. Everyone can help by giving blood, sponsoring a blood drive, or even baking a sweet treat for an upcoming blood drive.
