May is National Foster Care Month and a time to recognize the courage and strength of the approximately 400,000 children in foster care, and to consider how we can help each of them achieve a bright future. It’s also an important time to thank the relatives, foster parents, social workers, and others who make a positive difference in these young people’s lives.
