For the last 25 years, communities and individuals across the country have joined together in September to observeSAMHSA's National Recovery Month (Recovery Month) and celebrate the journey and achievements of the millions of Americans who are in recovery from a mental and/or substance use disorder.
This Thursday, SAMHSA, the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, and the Recovery Month Planning Partners will kick off the 25th annual National Recovery Month. The National Recovery Month 2014 press conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. eastern time and can be viewed virtually.
