The report provides data reported for the following HAIs: central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs), catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) and surgical site infections (SSIs), as well as facility-onset Clostridium difficile infections (CDI) and facility-onset methicillin-resistantStaphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteremia.
The report indicates Wisconsin hospitals are showing improvement when compared to national data for CLABSI, CAUTI, MRSA bacteremia, CDI, and SSIs among patients undergoing knee replacement procedures.
