New Beginnings focuses on helping adults with diabetes learn positive coping skills and build helpful relationships with the people who support them. It uses stories and skill building activities to support behavior change.
Use New Beginnings to teach skills such as, goal setting, managing stress, problem solving, overcoming self-doubt, and communicating with family members and health care providers. Get this flexible, adaptable guide to develop diabetes discussion groups or add it to existing diabetes education and support groups.
