Tips on How to Protect Yourself Against Tick-Borne Disease
U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) sent this bulletin at 06/26/2013 01:09 PM EDT06/26/2013 12:30 PM EDT
The best known tick-borne diseases in the U.S. are Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain fever. However, scientists at the Food and Drug Administration have found an increasing number of cases of babesiosis, a serious disease caused by a parasite carried by the same ticks that carry Lyme disease.
