Published in PLOS ONE, the study analyzed more than 2.5 million delivery-related hospitalizations from April 2020 through March 2023. More than 53,000 of these hospitalizations involved a COVID-19 diagnosis, providing researchers with data to assess maternal delivery outcomes across multiple phases of the pandemic and variant periods nationwide.
