The winners, Romain Alderweireldt and Carlotta Emili, explored two very different challenges: Romain’s poster showed how patient-led data sharing could help researchers find answers in Marfan syndrome, while Carlotta’s examined how ultra-rare gene therapies can remain available when standard pricing models fall short.
