Weekly U.S. Influenza Surveillance Report
CDC’s latest FluView report (Mar 15 – 21) shows the level of lab-confirmed flu is decreasing, while the proportion of people seeking care for flu-like illness is increasing. This could be due to more people seeking care for respiratory illness due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. CDC is working to modify existing flu and other surveillance systems to monitor COVID-19.
