Proceedings of NCCIH’s Cannabinoid Research Workshop Are Now Available

In December 2018, NCCIH sponsored a workshop to discuss the processes and issues related to conducting research on the therapeutic potential of cannabis (marijuana) and its components within the current regulatory environment. The conference brought together researchers, Government officials, and industry representatives to:

• Share perspectives on how best to navigate the regulatory environment
• Inform the research and regulatory communities of NCCIH’s and other NIH agencies’ interest in this area of research
• Foster collaborations.
