Dennis Drayna, chief of the NIDCD Genetics of Communication Disorders Section, retires

Dennis Drayna, Ph.D., retired in June 2019 after 22 years of dedicated research, service, and mentorship at the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD). Drayna was the chief of the Section on Genetics of Communication Disorders and the Laboratory of Communication Disorders at the NIDCD. He continues to serve the National Institutes of Health as a scientist emeritus.
