Don’t miss your chance to nominate the person, patient organisation or company that has gone the extra mile by making your nomination via blackpearl.eurordis.org/nominate by 20 August. All nominations must be submitted in English. Submissions can be made by filling out the form or by video.
The EURORDIS Black Pearl Awards honour the outstanding efforts of individuals and organisations across the rare disease community. They are presented to patient advocates, patient organisations, policy makers, scientists, companies and media.
Anyone from anywhere in the world can make a nomination for any of the following categories:
- Company Award for Health Technology New category for 2019!
- Photo Award - would you like to submit your photo to be in with a chance of winning the EURORDIS Photo Award 2019? Submission for photo entries will open via blackpearl.eurordis.org from November 2018!
Nominations for the EURORDIS Black Pearl Awards are shortlisted by a selection committee and the winners selected by the EURORDIS Board of Directors. Read more about last year's awardees.

The EURORDIS Black Pearl Awards 2019 will be presented at a ceremony held in Brussels on 12 February 2019 to mark the occasion of Rare Disease Day.
