 DEA TO HOST TELECONFERENCE TO ANNOUNCE 

10th NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE-BACK DAY

DEA Acting Administrator Chuck Rosenberg will participate in a media teleconference to announce the 10th  DEA-led National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.  The media teleconference will take place Tuesday, July 28th at 10 am Eastern. 

As evidenced by the overwhelming participation by Americans in all 50 states at the nine National Prescription Drug Take-Back events since 2010, DEA sees a clear need to continue this service. DEA encourages everyone who has expired, unwanted, or unneeded prescription drugs in pill form to participate in this event so they can keep their medicine cabinets and homes safe from theft and abuse.
