President Obama calls climate change one of the greatest public health challenges of our time. At the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), we’re working hard to meet that challenge—as are Health and Human Services Secretary Burwell and Surgeon General Murthy.
Like the Department of Health and Human Services, EPA is a public health agency. Americans have fundamental rights to clean air to breathe and clean water to drink—because nobody can prosper if pollution is making them sick.
