Use a plastic container
Wednesday, April 24, 2013
The FoodSafety.gov website offers this food-storage advice:
- Store raw meat, seafood and poultry inside a plastic or glass container, or a plastic bag.
- Freeze raw meat, seafood or poultry that you won't be using in the next couple of days.
- Store eggs in their original cartons.
- Place eggs inside the main part of the refrigerator, rather than inside the door.
