In this trial, patients with diabetes and multivessel coronary disease had a lower risk of MI and death if they were treated with CABG, as compared with coronary stenting with drug-eluting stents. However, the CABG group had an increased risk of stroke.

In this trial, patients with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease were randomly assigned to tolvaptan, a vasopressin V2-receptor antagonist, or placebo. Over 3 years, the increase in total kidney volume in the tolvaptan group was half that in the placebo group.
