In support of World TB Day March 24th, this month’s CDC LC spotlight focuses on tuberculosis (TB). This spotlight features learning products and resources designed to educate and assist health care professionals and others with an interest in TB.
Learning products featured on the spotlight include the following:
Self-Study Modules on Tuberculosis: Modules 1-5 [ce]

Series of five print-based modules covering epidemiology, transmission, pathogenesis, diagnosis, infection control, and treatment of TB infection and disease for health professionals, nurses, outreach workers, and clinicians     

Core Curriculum on Tuberculosis: What the Clinician Should Know [ce]

Intended for use as a self-study reference for clinicians and other public health professionals caring for persons with or at high risk for TB disease or infection     

Includes a slide set designed to be useful in developing educational programs     

Resources featured in the spotlight include:
CDC Division of Tuberculosis Elimination: Links to consultation centers, organizations, and other related sites
