Speakers Announced for Third Webinar on Syringe Service Programs



Substance Misuse, Infectious Disease, and the Powerful Potential of Syringe Service Programs

Register today for the final webinar in a three-part series focused on supporting syringe services programs (SSPs). Hosted by the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, this third and final presentation takes place on Thursday, November 21 from 2:00 - 3:15 PM (ET) and will feature perspectives from national and local community-focused organizations that support SSPs. 

Speakers include: 
  • Daniel Raymond, Deputy Director of Planning and Policy, Harm Reduction Coalition;
  • Chuck Wexler, Executive Director, Police Executive Research Forum; and
  • Grace Keller, Program Coordinator, Howard Center Safe Recovery

SSPs are important community-based prevention programs that can save lives, combat the nation’s opioid crisis, reduce the transmission of HIV and Hepatitis C, and support individuals in accessing substance use disorder treatment services.
