Join MJFF’s Online Clinical Study to Speed PD Breakthroughs
Yesterday, Michael J. Fox appeared on "CBS Sunday Morning" to share his experience living publicly with Parkinson's disease (PD) for more than 20 years, and his vision for the Foundation -- to enable patients and researchers to work together toward a cure.
Today, that vision becomes reality as The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research launches Fox Insight -- an online clinical study that empowers people with PD to partner with researchers and accelerate the development of breakthrough treatments.
By filling out questionnaires in quarterly study visits, Fox Insight volunteers provide critical insights into the daily lived experience of PD. Fox Insight is open to people with and without Parkinson's, and all information is de-identified and made available to qualified researchers to advance research.
Additionally, the Foundation and 23andMe have partnered to allow participants with Parkinson's to link genetic profiles to their Fox Insight reports through the Fox Insight Genetic Sub-study. The combined dataset can provide researchers a more holistic view of Parkinson's and speed progress for everyone living with the disease.
Sharing your story is a crucial step on our path to a cure. Together with thousands of other patients, families and caregivers, you can provide unprecedented disease insights and help shape the future of Parkinson's research.
Join Fox Insight today: The future of Parkinson's research is in powerful hands. Yours.
