DR. FAUCI AND DR. WOLITSKI DISCUSS HIGHLIGHTS OF AIDS 2016

AIDS 2016) in Durban, South Africa, AIDS.gov did a Facebook Live session with Dr. Tony Fauci of NIH and Dr. Rich Wolitski of HHS at the U.S. government exhibit booth.
Dr. Fauci is the Director of the
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Dr. Wolitski leads the Office of HIV/AIDS and Infectious Disease Policy (OHAIDP). They discussed some of the good news about HIV prevention for women and their infants presented at the conference as well as follow up studies on the power of treatment as prevention. They also touched on updates shared at the conference by NIH and other researchers on HIV vaccine and cure research.
