CDC U.S. TB Elimination Champions—Call for Nominations

Dear Colleagues,

As a part of our World TB Day activities, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Tuberculosis Elimination (CDC/DTBE) is pleased to announce an exciting new project, the CDC U.S. TB Elimination Championsproject.
We know there are many people making progress toward ending TB every day. The CDC U.S. TB Elimination Champions project provides an opportunity to recognize accomplishments and learn best practices from those who are making a significant impact in improving public health through their work in TB prevention and control.
If you know an organization or individual who has made innovative and successful contributions toward ending TB in their community, consider nominating them to be a CDC U.S. TB Elimination Champion. Stories of success will be shared on CDC’s website and social media channels during the week of World TB Day and beyond.
Please visit the CDC U.S. TB Elimination Champions webpage to learn more. If you have any questions or comments, contact Dana Tumblin at vsx4@cdc.gov.

Thank you,
Wanda Walton, PhD, MEd
Chief, Communications, Education, and Behavioral Studies Branch
