Dr. Salim Abdool Karim, president of the South African Medical Research Council and director of the Centre for the AIDS Programme of Research in South Africa (CAPRISA) will deliver this year’s LaMontagne Memorial Lecture on “Envisioning the ‘End of AIDS’: Challenges and Prospects.” Dr. Abdool Karim is a leading South African clinical infectious diseases epidemiologist and HIV prevention and treatment researcher.
The lecture will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 13 in the in Lipsett Amphitheater in Building 10 on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Md. You can watch the lecture via webcast at: http://videocast.nih.gov.
