Adults with Behavioral Health Conditions Are More Likely To Smoke

A new SAMHSA report shows adults experiencing any mental illness or a substance use disorder in the past year represent 24.8 percent of the adult population, but that same group used 39.6 percent of all cigarettes smoked by adults.

Up to $54.6 Million Available for Targeted Capacity Expansion Grants for Providing Substance Abuse Treatment to Minority Women at High Risk for HIV/AIDS

The grant program will expand substance abuse treatment and HIV services for African American, Hispanic/Latina, and other racial/ethnic minority women (ages 18 years and older).
