The conference is jointly supported by the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan under the US-Japan Cooperative Research Program. The goal of this conference is to exchange ideas on cutting edge areas of biomedical research and to enhance opportunities for collaborations among scientists from the US and Japan. The scientific theme of our joint annual meetings has been diverse. We have invited speakers from Japan and the US to discuss advances in this emerging field of research and highlight FDA's regulations in this cutting-edge field of biomedical research.
