Program Overview:

This program is designed to provide advanced practice oncology nurses with current and relevant information related to the management of cancer patients. The effects of cancer-related therapy can have an impact on morbidity and mortality, and the quality of life of patients with cancer. This program consists of several presentations focused on key components for a successful survivorship care program, nursing considerations for patients with pancreatic cancer, the multidisciplinary care approach to prostate cancer and strategies to identify and manage the complexities of symptom management and supportive care issues in cancer care.
