CDC MMWR Characteristics of Marijuana Use During Pregnancy — Eight States, Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System, 2017 Overall, 9.8% of women in eight states reported marijuana use before pregnancy, 4.2% during pregnancy, and 5.5% after pregnancy. The most frequently reported reasons for marijuana use during pregnancy were to relieve stress or anxiety, nausea or vomiting, and pain.

The public comment period will be open for 4 days, from 12:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, September 1, until 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, September 4.
