Cancer Clinical Trials | MD Anderson Cancer Center

Cancer Clinical Trials | MD Anderson Cancer Center

THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS MD ANDERSON CANCER CENTER - Making Cancer History

September marks the beginning of our new fiscal year at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, and we face the year ahead with optimism because of friends like you who embrace and help advance our mission to end cancer.

On behalf of our patients and their families, thank you for supporting MD Anderson and inspiring ongoing efforts to:
Keep our patients and staff safe from COVID-19, and conduct research on COVID-19, including potential treatments, both for our own immunocompromised patients and the larger population
Grow our cancer drug clinical trial portfolio — one of the largest in the world — to advance treatment options for all patients, no matter if their cancers are common or rare
Launch additional cancer prevention and education initiatives to lower the cancer burden in communities, especially for those disproportionately affected by the disease
Even as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we remain committed to providing patients with the highest level of care in a safe environment. You should never delay important health appointments because of the COVID-19 crisis. Take appropriate precautions and trust that your health care providers are doing the same. Cancer screenings, especially, should continue because there is no better way to save lives than by catching problems early. Our mission continues, and you can feel safe at MD Anderson.

Together, we are turning today’s ideas into tomorrow’s treatments. We are providing support programs that uplift patients and meet their needs from diagnosis through survivorship. And, we are saving lives. Your belief in MD Anderson does so much for so many.

Thank you again for your support. We are Making Cancer History® each day because of you.

Dr. PistersSincerely,

Peter WT Pisters, M.D.
President
