American Heart Association Funding Opportunity
The American Heart Association just launched the American Heart Association’s Bernard J. Tyson Impact Fund (the Fund) in the Puget Sound. The Fund is an investment vehicle of the American Heart Association designed to support community-based solutions, especially those raised up by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and Immigrant/Refugee led organizations, to the social and economic barriers to health equity. The Fund is actively seeking to support non-profit and for-profit organizations with community-based sustainable solutions to the social determinants of health challenges in the Puget Sound, particularly those related to food insecurity and housing. The investment window is open now and lasts until October 15th. Please follow this link to submit your Expression of Interest. LEARN MORE: Learn more about the Fund, opportunities for funding, and how to share your innovative strategies to improve health outcomes. Representatives from the American Heart Association will be hosting a virtual town hall on October 1st at 10 am to describe the opportunity and answer questions for local organizations, community members, and stakeholders interested in partnering with the Bernard J. Tyson Impact Fund. Click here to register today! Hope to see you there and please share this with others in our community that you think would be interested. |
