The COVID-19 and Telemental Health Service Use Survey was developed to help researchers and clinicians better understand how COVID-19 has affected the mental health of respondents, and their telemental health service use. Telemental health services include the use of voice call, video call, text messaging, mobile app, web-based formats (e.g., website, email), internet support group, or chat room to receive mental health treatment or counseling. The Institutional Review Board of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill provided the study a notification of exemption from further review (IRB Study #20-1588).
