Message from the HHS OMH Director: Our Work on Sickle Cell Disease 

Last week, the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, the HHS Office of Minority Health and the National, Heart, Lung and Blood Institute at the National Institute for Health launched the HHS observance of National Sickle Cell Awareness Month. This September, we’re working to highlight the work of HHS and partners across the nation who are dedicated to helping those with sickle cell disease. I invite you to join us in this effort.
