Spotlight on Healthy Swimming: Swim Healthy This Summer and Beyond
Swimming is an important physical activity that many people enjoy in the summer. Most people have a healthy and safe time enjoying the water, but recreational water illnesses, sunburns, and drownings can occur. CDC's Healthy Swimming website
provides information to the public, public health and medical
professionals, and aquatics staff on how to maximize the health benefits
of swimming while minimizing the risk of illness and
injury.
