Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in our nation, and remains the second leading cause of cancer death for women. Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, preventive benefits like mammograms and well-woman visits are covered for many women at no out-of-pocket cost.
The Affordable Care Act also ended lifetime dollar caps on coverage, meaning women battling breast cancer can focus on staying well and living their lives.
