Get State-specific Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity Data Online with CDC’s New Interactive Database

CDC’s Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity’s new Data, Trends, and Maps database makes state-specific data easily accessible. You can view maps, tables, and trend data in the areas of:
  • Weight Status
  • Fruit and Vegetable Consumption
  • Physical Activity
  • Sugar Drink Consumption
  • Television Viewing 
  • Breastfeeding

The database includes state-level behavior, policy, and environmental indicators from multiple data sources.  Users can display all indicators for one state or all states for one indicator.
How can users access the database? The database can be accessed from DNPAO’s websiteData, Trends and Maps. You can also post the Data, Trends and Maps Web button on your website for your users to link directly to the database.  Please share the Data, Trends, and Maps fact sheetwith interested colleagues and partners.
